350 chevy with RV cam and MSD street fire distributor falls on it's face
Alright guys yet another problem 350 mild cam and msd dizzy likes to fall on her ************ face everytime I go to accelerate top end rmp has no problem, but bottom on inital acceleration she falls flat I've tried advancing and retarding timing few degrees and still not happy! Also played with fuel pressure and I have plenty 4-5 psi any ideas or advice please

check your cam timing, the cam may be out , iv bulit a 350 once and dingdong me wasnt watchn what i was doing, i put the cam in with the timing chain gears and the cam was 1-2 teeth out, and it was doing the very same thing yours is doing so i had to pull it back apart, and boy did it come to life!!!!

I agree with gofastz, sounds like your cam is off a tooth too advanced

What carb, and what is your timing curve - initial @??? rpm, total @??? rpm

I said too advanced before, but according to http://www.compcams.com/Pages/413/ca...ion-angle.aspx I had it backwards
