350 Crank Shaft Question
I am puting everything back together on my 350. Today I took out the bolt from the crank shaft and I noticed the first 2 threads on the bolt looked rough. So I went and bought a new bolt and it seems a little harder than normal when I try to put the new bolt in. I only went about 2 turns in and then stopped. I looked in at the threads of the crank shaft and I couldnt visually see any damage. I am not sure what to do from here. I dont want to cross thread or damage the cam shaft. Any suggestions?
