Ok so I have a 1983 monte carlo with a 305 the dipstick is on the passangers side now someone on here before told be to watch out on the 350 I'm going to buy incase the dipstick was on the drivers side,well the motor I looked@tonite it was on the drivers sode what does that mean what should I do?
Somewhat. The '55-79 engines are drivers side dip, '80-85 are pass side, '86-up are one-piece rear main seal and pass side dip.
