350 engine

hi guys just a quickie ive started to re assemble my 350 which has sat a while ,the inner block walls and casting ie inside where the torque converter live have surface rust on them which ive cleaned off my question is can you paint this to protect it thanks martin

Yes use a quality epoxy paint. In the day we used GE Glyptal. A substance used in electric motors. Still available under different names.
