Seems he askes this question on a semi-regular basis.

But like sqzbox said- the answer remains the same...

The number beside the number w/the "suffix" code, 11s104717, is a partial VIN. The "11B" I believe breaks down as:

1= Chevy
1= 1971 (in this case)
B= Baltimore assembly plant

The rest of the numbers are the sequential build numbers that also appear on the vehicle's VIN.

I don't think the Camaro was made in Baltimore in '71, so that leaves the engine as being from either a Chevelle, El Camino or Impala.

The sequential number started at 100001 being the first car of that sequence, so the sequence number probably won't help because all three of those models (Chevelle, El Camino and Impala) were produced in excess of 4717 vehicles, I do believe.

Memorize? Not hardly. Google vo911cgc and your old thread (previous 3 ) on Hotrodders pops up. Cobalt, Techinspector1, and several others have tried their best to answer your "Q".

More than likely, if THEY haven't given you the answer your looking for, it ain't going to happen. At this point, you can research the 71 350, get all the spec's for that year and tear it down for positive identification.
