350 motor swap

I have an 89 chevy k1500 that i got on a trade. I want to swap out the 350 5.7 efi with a 350 5.7 vortec out of a 98 chevy tahoe. The vortec is completely stock. no mods. and i have everything off of both vehicles. what is the bare minumum i'm going to need to make this motor run in my k1500? I figured maybe a new intake manifold and maybe an aftermarket chip burned for the swap....

Do you plan to use the TBI or the Vortec's injection setup?

I keep forgetting about the Vortec Intake mounting pattern.
The TBI Intake for Vortec heads would be the easiest. A larger 454 TBI would be a + & upgraded Chip.
Since you have the complete 98 Tahoe you could swap the Harness & ECM, Fuel pump etc.. into the 89-K1500. Not sure if the Tank will swap or not. Much more work tho'.
