14010201 is the block casting #. It's an 82 to 85 2 bolt main 305.The 5.0 or 5.7 should be on top of the block,rite behind & below the drivers side head.The casting # & suffix code will also be on a pad just below the head on the passenger side if it hasn't been removed from decking.The suffix code will tell you what the engine originally came from.So,you have an 82 to 85 2 bolt 305 w/ 4 bbl heads.

ok well what all do i need for the gears? and should i run 4.10 or 3.73

Depends alot on what type of driving you do.If most of your driving is in town,or,short trips,it won't be much of a deal,however,if you do alot of hwy driving,i'd go with the 3:73's since your running a TH350.Hwy speeds with 4:10's would have you wound up pretty tite.

yeah its mostly around town but i think im going to go with 3.73's just in case i guess but what all do i need to do this?

to put 3.73 gears in it they should just fit right iv heard that they might not if i have a certain gear ratio
