350 oil ring depth

I am rebuilding a later model 350 chevy engine casting#14093638 87-94.
My question is, how can I tell if the pistons require the shallow or deep oil
rings? Is there a measurement I can use to determine this? I have read up and only find that VIN K uses shallow. I don't know original application ,but block pad is stamped V0705 UZH

Well you don't have a k block so you use normal rings.

I went here >> http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php and looked up a 91 chevy truck. You can look at other auto parts sites as well. Only 350 TBI engine available for that year is the VIN K, Truck, Blazer or Van.
