350 Olds Engine on Any Olds

Hi All! I have a 350 engine and trans. that came of a 1976 oldsmobile cutlass supreme, fixed up.
I have a 1982 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 4 door, with no engine or trans. Anyone know if it will fit without a problem?
Help me out

Unless I'm mistaken the '76 Olds 350 was actually the Chevy 350. Provided the '82 was a V-8 it should work. If the '82 was a V-6 you will probably have to scrounge the V-8 frame side engine mounts from a junkyard. Should be no problem.

I believe the 307-330-350-403 up to 1986 were all Olds motors, and are interchangeable, so if the car came with one of those, you can drop a 350 right in.

Your car will support every GM engine from the little Chevy 200 v-6 to the Cadillac 500 and everything else that was available in GM's rear wheel drive vehicles lineup from the 60's to the mid 90's barring a few truck only applications.
Search for my previous posts and you will find some recent informative answers to this particular question.

You are correct, sir. The 76 motor is definitely an Olds motor. The 82 should be the same, other than what engine originally came in it.
