Got the block

Hey Hotrod389, thank you for the block and tranny; I really do appriciate it. By the way, the block is a 71, not that it matters, good block either way. I took it down saturday afternoon once we got back and she's getting tanked and mag tested. That block was in awesome shape visually, and once the mag test comes back good (I'm sure it will), I'm gonna have them take it out a bit to 4.15. Once it's back after that, I've got the bottom dies to fit the threads, I'm gonna clean up all the threads and clean up the lifter valley, just do some polishing around the guides where there are some small slag spots. Took the tranny completely apart today with my friend who's a performance builder, and ran that through the parts washer. Looks like new clutch packs are needed. He's ordering all the parts tomorrow for it to handle up to 500HP (think that's what he said It was much higher than I intended to build) and snap your neck when you launch from the line and gear to gear. This turned out awesome, and I thank you again. See you this weekend. Oh, and can you PM me that list of retailers you told me about.

Thank You,
Dave
