350 question
I have a 1990 350 engine. When looking for new manifolds for it, it list them up to 1986 and then 1996 and later with Vortec heads. I don't have Vortec heads on this engine. What is the difference between the 86 and 90 block and will the manifold for a 86 fit on it?

The engine is out of a Chevy truck and yes it had a TBI that I now want to change over to a carb. The problem I'm having is the intake manifolds all say either 96 and earlier with Vortec heads or 86 and earlier. I don't have the Vortec heads so I'm not sure what manifold to get.

Edelbrock makes a couple intakes for those oddball heads but the selection limits you to a performer or a performance TBI type intake. No RPM or air gaps as far as I know. |
