Actually, that does NOT apply here. The "Rocket Block" is a 350 CHEVY block that was offered by Olds for use in racing classes that allowed "corporate" engine swaps. It's called a "rocket block" because there is a large Olds rocket logo cast into the side of the block. Note the rocket logo in the bottom RH picture on this page:
