Post 350 rods in a 400 sbc

Does anyone know from experience if 350pm rods will fit in a 400 without grinding for cam clearance, using a flat tappet hydraulic cam? Thanks in advance for any help.

A friend of mine ran this combo. I don’t think he had to do anything special. BTW that 400 is a nice engine, bore it and stroke it and you have the power of a 427 BB for the price of sbc parts. Not to mention the weight saved.

No, you will have the power of a Big Block and the weight of the Small Block. A 427 SB will cost tons of money. Probably more than a well built big block.
