350 SBC Bore Too Big?

Real simple question here for some knowledgeable Chevy folk, just to confirm my suspicion...
I was given a chevy 350 small block with casting #3970010. First thing I did was got out my digital micrometer and measured the bore @ 4.100". Is this engine history?
I read .080" is the largest diameter one can bore a cylinder.

Wow. Make sure that measurement you're coming up with is spot on. That's an incredible overbore, and i'm pretty sure you're doomed for failure at this point with that block, sorry. That's more of an over bore than I've ever seen. I've seen SBC 350s that have failed primarily because they retained an 0.080 overbore.

Can you take a picture with your micrometer in place? It's not that i don't believe you, i just want to see this.
