350 SBC Coolant Capacity
 

Hope someone can answer a relatively simple question.

I'm setting up a new hot rod and need to determine my engine cooling capacity. I know what the radiator holds but not sure about the engine block itself. I'm thinking it is around 2 gals but haven't been able to verify that in any engine manual or other literature.

Can someone tell me what the 350 SBC block coolant capacity is?

Sounds like 2 gals is a safe assumption for the block capacity.
