350 sbc timing

On initial timing ...how far ahead of TDC should I set spark? I'm running a bigger than normal cam FYI

Ok so I'm clear ...find tdc then back down approx 20 degrees and then drop dist in and fine tune from there?

those guys have a bunch of videos that are really informative. look up "suck sqeeze bang blow" that is the name of the show they used to have.
