When both marks are together, you are at the #6 firing position. When both marks are at 12 o'clock, you are at #1 firing position.

It is best to align marks together for a good visual, then turn crank 360 to be at #1 firing position and drop distributor in with rotor pointing at #1.

You can leave marks together, just be sure to drop distributor in with rotor pointing at #6
Nah, I think its actually a tooth off, it wouldn't time no matter what I did, think I am going to pull it out to see what is going on, but I will follow your instructions, thanks
