350 trans cooler lines

Hey guy's, Im building a 30 model A coupe with a 350 chevy 350 trans, and I need to make some trans cooler lines. The tranny has some fittings in the holes now and Im using a walker radiator with the cooler in the bottom tank. the radiator fittings 1/8 pipe and the tranny looks like 3/8 pipe does that sound right. will these lines be enough to cool this stock tranny or should I try to put a remote cooler in? I don't really have room for a remote so i would like to use the cooler I have. Bill

The Trans case fittings are 1/4" NPST/NationalPipeStraightThread to 5/16" Inverted Flare, Rad is probably 1/4" NPT/NationalPipeThread to 5/16" Inv.Flr.
Water cools 32 times better than air so it should be fine unless you plan to use a TC/TorqueConverter with a high stall rating, then I'd recommend an Auxillary cooler aswell.
Are you going to use Metal lines or Braided Hose?
Many places sell Hose kits & fittings.
