So I am taking it you replaced the seal once or 3 times or just once? It could still be a multiple of things. If the seal is not installed properly it will still leak. It is possible that the housing maybe bad around it or the shaft itself is worn out. I would say more on the seal not being installed properly over anything else. I havent had that issue yet. I just have a leak on the cooloer line again on my tranny.

So you changed the seal three times and the converter once ? You didn't happen to take a look at the front pump housing did you. Or the breather hole around where the seal goes is blocked if it's blocked you can't keep a seal in it.JMO

I don't blame you i would be too. And you are sure the seal is the correct one and going in properly ? If so then IMHO it's got to be either the front pump housing is cracked or the breather hole in the front i was talking about in my other post i know for a fact if that hole gets blocked it will keep blowing the front seal. I will be honest if you have already had it out that many times maybe it's time to let a pro get a hold of it before you get really .JMO But if you do decide to attempt again check around the front pump housing for cracks and make sure the breather hole is not blocked.
Maybe Crosley will see this and can shed more light on it for you.

did you by chance check the pump bushing? is it in the right place? have you verified that its truly the converter seal, and not maybe a pump gasket and o'ring?
does it leak whether its running or not??? what were the conditions when the leak started?
high mileage on trans? what year, and make vehicle is this trans in?

clogged breather will typically push fluid up the filler tube before the converter seal leaks.

If the leak viewed is from the converter hub area.....this goes back to pump bushing into the seal or a crack in the converter hub as mentioned.
