350 turbo vs 400 turbo

I have a 1971 nova with a 350 bored and built to a 355 with a 350 turbo tranny and a set of 355 Richmond gears in the rearend. The car runs very well but i was curious if a 400 turbo would add a little more pep to the launch. Is the ratio between the two significant enough to speed the car up upon take off or is it a waste of time and money. im also aware of the 2.75 low gear 400's but am concerned that the transition between first and second would cause a loss in acceleration.
