Yup, thats what I thought. Thanks gearheadslife, its in my '54 3100. Messin around with the Holleys front squiters, was idleing a little high when I went backed out of the garage for test run, stopped to adjust the idle and air-fuel,still about 950 RPM, put it in drive and bang! still had rev. and 1st, limped back home. If its a stock 700r4 then you might just blow it up too...unless you do some extensive upgrades to the 700 there prone to failure anything over 300hp.. so I been told

If the 350 has a nine inch extension housing there will be no cutting of driveshafts.

If the teeth are stripped off of the governor would that cause it not to pull in 2nd and 3rd?

Maybe I ought to meet you at the run.

I could get you to rub off a bit of your luck on me.

Glad to hear you got it sorted out.
