350 vs 305HO
 
I'm a newbie here, so Hey, how ya doin'? I'm looking at a 1994 Chevy Silverado 1500, 179,000 miles on a stock 350. The guy is throwing in a High Output 305 with 60,000 miles (he was going to swap engines but never got that far). Should I just keep the 350? If so, what would the 305 be worth? I won't have any use for it. Thanks all.

What year of 305 is it?

sell the 305HO, use that money to buy a rebuild kit for the 350 and do a simple rebuild to it.
