350 wont start
i have a gm crate motor with a 292 lunati cam, set the crank gear at 4 degs advance, the cam gear set with timing mark stright down, the distributor set at no.1 on tdc, wont start need help????

Your certain it`s getting fuel? your certain it`s getting spark? are you positive it was timed correctly on the chain? with the 4 degree advance on the crank gear the piston should be in the vacinity of top dead center, if not then you have something wrong. Does the engine seem to spin over freely? or does it sound like it has compression? btw if the engine is stock and you stuck that big a cam in it, you won`t be happy with the results. sometimes you really got to pump the carb for it to get enough fuel to start.
