[Chevy 84]

I need some help with my build. I never drove the car or even heard it run, but this is the current build

351W Block - D4AE-6015-AA8
Exhaust Manifold - C60E 9430/9431 F
Heads - D8s
Holley - 600cfm

From everything I've read, these heads are not good for performance. If I'm looking for a build with a powerful lunge, but still has the ability to cruise at about 55-60 mph with no problem. I have'nt decided on a came yet, but is this possible with these stock heads and exhaust. Second question is how big of a difference would a set of GT-40s make? I'm tying to make this a complete build from parts in a junkyard just for fun. Any suggestions?

I brought a pair of GT40P's but have not put them on yet--everyone says that is the way to go and change cams.

I'm considering the GT40Ps, but I've been told changing sparkplugs will be a pain in the a%$!!

Aldo, I have the Edelbrock 351W intake. Will the GT40Ps match up with that with no problems?

Don't know--maybe someone else does. These I am going to use will be a marine application so exhaust manifolds should not be a problem for plugs and I will use the stock intake.

Yes, they will.

The stock exhaust manifolds aren't going to help at all with power production.

What is this going in?? Easier to help if we know all the variables.

It will be going in a '69 Mustang Coupe. If I'm able to get a set of GT40Ps, I will have to get the special headers. I just hope the headers will fit.
