is the car a v/8, or 6 cyl. more likely a 6. you can modify the ft cross member if it is a 6 and use ford 150 mts on it .that way you don't have to replace the crossmember. have done this several times. the one thing that is necessary is use the 351 into fox headers. i bought some on a board, and they are in fact 302 headers. i know someone that has a 351 in a ltd, same car ,that is running in the 13s with it pretty much stock.

So, I could use F-150 351 mounts, on the crossmember, to stick it in there? I don't know what kind of Transmission I'm using, but what would bolt in?
The Engine is from a full-size van, If that helps any. I'm thinking its a 2-bbl... -GF |

you cut the ft side of the 6 cyl mm on the frame off ,as that will interfere with the eng, there are 2 holes ,one each side on the old mt that is where the 150 truck mt goes. enlarge the hole vertically by about 3/8 of a inch. the trans will be up to you. i would use a c4 .mate the bell housing on the c4 to the correct flex plate 157,164. and you will be in buisness. if the trans in the car is good now change the bell housing and good to go. the rear trans mt might have to be shifted a little.flat steel welded on will do that.
