Does anyone make a valve cover for the 351 W that looks like the 312 T Bird covers? Or an adaptor to put the early covers on the later engine?

I know these aren't exactly 312 modled valve covers but take a look at these Homan Moody covers... probably not cheap but thought I would pass it along.

I would have a hard time believing anybody makes these, no market for them and no profit to be had.

I have a feeling that if they are anywhere close to the size and configuration of the 351W valve cover mounting surface (they really aren't! The 351W is trapezoidal and the 312 is rectangular) that you will have to make your own adapter. The 351W has 6 bolts directly into the head rocker surface while the 312 'Y' block has only 2 nuts in the top that originally were attached to the heads by a long stud from two of the rocker arm shaft stands. A Bridgeport mill and a drill press working on a piece of aluminum plate.........

Thanks guys, I figured that was the answer. Are there any covers that look good without edelbrock, etc splattered all over them? Nice fined aluminum?
I'm a Chevy man but have a customwer that wants a 351 in a 56 wagon so I'm seeing whats available.

...or if Billet Specialties still makes these (they're approx 2 years old and Summit supplied them ~$125). They are/were not well advertised by anyone. Matching air cleaner as well
