351 windsor rebuild
hi my name is mike wilson i have a 1979 ford bronko and i want to rebuild my 351 windsor motor but i need step by step instructions on how to do so pleas help. Where would i find such a thing

First, welcome to Hotrodders.
Step by step can get way to keyboard intensive.. :D Do you have a reputable machine shop locally? If so, they are the one's you need to see. If you have a gearhead friend or two, that would help. Do some research. Buy a book or two. Invest in some tools. Best of luck. |
Get tom monroes book, " How to rebuild your small block Ford." Takes you through the process step by step. From removing the engine to teardown, machine work, assenbly etc. Excellent book. I have my copy for over 20 years now and still use it all the time (it shows too. Might be time for a new copy).
That book and an actual Ford shop manual for your truck will be all you will need. Oh, and of course some common sense. |
