What kind of cam and carb should i put on my windsor, i would like to have about 350 horses, its a four barrel and i was wondering what kind of power i can get to run 13s. i already have 10.7 compression pistons to run pump gas. thanks, dave

some of the parts you need are a set of large valve heads58 cc comb chambers, and a 500 lift cam. ck your deck ht. it will have to be zero for you to have 10.7.have your heads up graded to 1.94 intake and 1.60 ex.next a set of screw in studs and guide plates. aset of roller tip rockers and hardened push rods. Gasket match on the intake and ex, plus mill to 58 cc and that will take care of the heads. a rpm intake or factory ford alum will be just fine. carb should be no larger than a 600. i use the old autolite from the 60's. a stock dura spark ign will work, or petronix. for the cam i perfer a dual pattern. adv 275/ 285 duration 475/ 500 lift. doug herbert should have one of these. I make 350/355 hp on the dyno with this set up and it is quite easy to do.
