355 engine combo question

I have a '70 model 350/300hp motor now. I'm thinking about doing some work on it over the winter months. Here is what I have so far, 350 bored .030, stock rods w/ hyper pistons (flat top w/ 4 valve reliefs), I'm going to install a Holley 300-36 intake with a 670 Avenger on it, Mallory HEI dist. with the 29215 race coil.

I'm looking at either the Lunati Voodoo #60102 .468/.489 lift, 262/268 dur., 219/227 dur. @ 050, 112 C/L (1400-5800 rpm range), or #60103 .489/.504 lift, 268/276 dur., 227/233 dur. @ .050, 110 C/L (1800-6200 rpm range)

For the heads, I haven't decided yet, i'm looking at Sportsman 2, Dart Iron Eagle, or maybe even Dart Pro 1. Should I stay with 180cc or could I use the 200cc, I would like to get the heads that could later be used on a 383. I have Comp Pro Magnum 1.52 roller rockers to install on what ever heads I use.

The compression ratio will be somewhere between 9.5 & 10:1

Transmission is a built 200r4 with a 2400 stall (w/lock-up torque converter), rear is a 12 bolt 3.73 posi.

What heads & cam do you all think would be the best combo.......thanks

What kind of car is it going in? What are your plans for the vehicle?

You have 4200+ pounds to pull around.
Build for what you have now, not what you hope to have in the future. You will be more satisfied.
Unless you want a high stall converter and poor mileage you should stick to a conservative single pattern cam of 218* on a 108* LSA. This will keep your peaks at 4300 and 5600 with good heads.
Compression should be based on your perception of fuel prices and the dynamic ratio of the camshaft.

You are putting your cruise at about 1900 rpm. Overcamming will hurt here.
I am a big believer of multi spark ignitions for low rpm efficiency, my favorite is MSD.
I suggest a squish/quench distance of .040-.045 and Singh grooves.

Heads- the Darts Iron Eagles or Pro 1's either way. 180cc Pro 1's flow pretty well and will still feed a 383 for later (up to 6,000).

Cam, I'd go smaller since it's an auto, if it was a stick, it's a differnet thing.
