I picked up these pics from somewhere on the net but I don't remember where so I can't give them credit here but here are some pics of a 36 Chev door being fitted with steel and a pic of a 31 chev rear body with some steel structure added.

Do you not have a chassis with the body? Seems like "Outlaw Performance" had a 35 Chev body/frame, but I could be wrong.

If you do have the chassis, are you looking to have IFS? Heidts, Fatman, and several others have Mustang crossmembers and componants for your frame. It's already got parallel leaves on the rear, just freshen the springs up and get an S-10 4x4 rear axle. Junkyards are full of them, cheap. You could, if it's not Knee-Action front, put new kingpins and bushings in your existing axle, or a dropped one, and a disk brake kit. I wouldn't chuck the stock frame rails if you have them. It's not a bolt together project, but some people have put 30's-40's bodies on entire S-10 and other chassis. Start measuring and get the torches lit!

You don't say exaclty what body panels you need, there's lots of stuff available. Floors you can make yourself from flat 18 or 20 ga and a bead roller.

36 Chevy business

I have some pictures of the 36 Chevy i had in my photo album. I gave it away though I know, i know i should have kept it. Not sure if this is the car you are talking about though. I know they sent these cars in pieces to be assembled and they used the oak crate as the frame which is pretty neat. The Chevy i found was in pretty good condition for sitting out in the Nevada desert for however many years. I can get more pictures of the frame, measurements, ect. and i know where there is another 36 Chevy just wasting away like mine was but in a lot better condition!

These are pictures of the 36 that we did last year, I tried to locate a wood kit for a 36 everywhere I could look,, with no luck,,I found 1 guy in S Carolina that said he didn't know of anyone that made the kits for a 36 [ possably meant a 4 dr,, he said he could make the kit if I sent him the old wood,,If I had the old wood then I could have made the kit,,,
Actually replacing the wood is easier than doing it out of steel,,, You have to stripo all the old wood out then fit the door skin back in the hole and tack weld it to the body,,then build a ridig jig that will hold the door in the correct shape and then cut the welds and put it on a table to work ,, much easier and the door turns out the correct shape

I have a bunch more pictures of the doors if you want them

Yes - if you could post more pics it would be helpful. I am not building a Chevy but the techniques you used to steel your doors and body are what I am looking for. Thanks in advance.
