'36 chevy sedan rear suspension

Anyone know of another company other than Chassis Engineering that makes a rear suspension kit for my '36 chevy sedan. C.E. is $500 + so I'm just trying to research other options.

Thanks,
Mike

Not owning a 36 Chevy ... I do not ... BUT I will say I have used Chassis Engineering products for many years on Fat Fender Fords ... and their stuff works great, is well engineered and well worth the $$$ IMHO

re: '36 chevy sedan rear suspension

There is nothing wrong with the stock rear suspension on those early Chevy's at all. Dual rear springs is the simplest and easiest to make up and repair parts are available. Your local spring can rearch the springs for you if they are drooping and even make new leaves if necessary.

re: '36 chevy sedan rear suspension

Mike,

I have a '35 Chevy Master coupe that has a CE kit in the rear. If you want to go C4 Corvette check out Progressive Automotive. If you are thinking of doing a 4-link check out Suicidedoors.com. Just ordered their 4 link universal which is very well built and very reasonably priced.
