36 chevy truck wiper motor help?
I am looking for a newer electric wiper motor set up for my 36 chevy truck. Thank you guys!

I used a VW bug electric motor and arms in my 51 F1...just had to shorten the cross arm a bit

For my '33 I used Specialty Power Windows and wipers.
They don't use linkage it's a push-pull cable thang making it fittable to most applications. vicrod

I used Detroit Speed delay wiper system, super easy install and comes complete with everything needed including a fuse, billet knob etc....... they are proud if it tho' to me it was well worth the money.

I think in that vintage you probably have a 6 volt system?
If so it will probably cost you a little mopre than the guys with the 12 volt setup. I don't know of anyone who makes the motors that run directly off 6 volts. I had to use a power converter in my '48 Cadi in order to update the wiper system to electric. A little more costly and a few more wires and gadgets to deal with. Vic Brincat

Your truck just has a single wiper, right? If so I would be looking at Mighty Wiper. They are available in 6v or 12v, use a simple on/off switch, and draw less than one amp.

Your truck originally had a vacuum wiper system. There are several aftermarket units. The suggested mighty wiper is one choice.

use a 6v battery
a friend said just use a 6v battery and charge wen needed for wiper and heater blower motor hay if it work's and cheap

in the old day's my dad just tap haft way and was 6v do they make a battery that have 12v and 6v tap on it spudman

Hope this helps jim carter truck parts has different versions of what you are looking for electric motor use your arms part #ww350 for 67.50 or compkete change over wipers for both sides motor transmission (arms gear box )very well made easy to install part#ww355 $345 i installed the deluxe kit on my 50 chevy pu 2 years ago no problems part # listed above are for 1934-1946 or 47 1st design phone #800-226-1919

I have a mighty wiper in my '37 coupe and have had one in a '35 pickup. Both worked great and were easy to install, and not expensive.
