36 Ford Rumble Seat installation instructions

Hi
Is there anyone out there who can give me info on changing a regular trunk lid to a rumble seat . I have new rumble seat hinges .
It looks like the trunk lid would hit the stop plate which is a part of the original car.......a 1936 Ford 5 win. coupe

Thanks

Bob

A regular member here is TREES. He can more than likely give you a detailed explanation as he has a 1936 Ford Coupe and is very knowledgeable about 1936 Fords (cars and trucks). He has both.

If he doesn't answer your question here shortly it is because he usually goes on vacation around this time of year and should be back on board just after Thanksgiving.

Do a search for him on this site and send him an IM and when he is available, Im sure he will get back to you.
