36 Olds Steering question
Both tie rods connect to a center pivot that is controled by the pitman arm. This pivot has a bushing in it that mounits it in the center of the crossmember. The bushing is worn. What is this bushing called and where can I get one. Thanks

It is not a bronze bushing. It is a sleeve mounted in rubber. It would remind you of a bushing from a GM trailing arm from the rear suspension. I probably could machine one as a last resort but I would rather find a proper replacement. Thanks for your reply.

This was used on many GM cars of the thirties. Surely someone has dealt with this issue. I sure would appreciated some help on this.
