The Purple shaft cams are great and I would keep the 284 Purple shaft cam.
If the cam is pristine condition re-use it with new chrysler V8 hyd lifters
Be sure to get the right chrysler high perf valve springs.
the distributor will need to be recurved.
It needs 10:1 cr, a 3500-4000 stall 9" converter and 3.91-4.30 gears.
use a 750cfm holley-proform Dp carb.
Get some full length A body LA engine headers
8.5x 26" ET streets and Cal-tracs or a mopar perf pinion snubber and spring clamps.
