Hey! if any or you guys are using repro trunk hinges on your fat Chevys I strongly suggest that you keep them oiled. I watched a guy at a show open his trunk and the hinge broke in half, later on I happened to see the metal on my 39 flex a little and seem hard to open. I oiled them with Tri Flow and all seems OK now. Thanbks for listening. Doity9
