'37-'39 chevy questions

I just ran across a guy with two '37-'39 chevy coupes. According to him, one is a business coupe and the other a regular coupe. They're either a '37 and a '38 or a '38 and a '39 (he couldn't remember which). They're supposed to be original and complete but not running with "the usual" amount of rust.

I know nothing about old chevys. Is there any resource I can look at to help identify them? Is there anything that makes them more or less valuable? What are they worth assuming they're you're typical barn find with rust and damaged interior and a turning but not-running engine? they seem to be popular hot rods and I see semi-restored shells in the $5 - $8k range and some hot rods in the $25-50k range.

Go to Google, images, type in 37 or 39 chevy. 37's had a different grill, one year the bars were vertical, 37 If I remember right, the other year, 38, horizontal bars in the grille. 39s were different, beautiful cars though.
