'37-'48 for spindle disk brake size

OK, im building a t bucket and have decided to use a dropped i beam, but it requires the for spindles. when i looked through speedways catalog i couldn't fine anything less than 11" disc's. it wouldn't be such a big deal, but i wanted to mount my disc's inside a pair of Buick brake drums for a nostalgic look. I need something smaller, but i cant find any kits, and was wondering if i could use the 9.75 mustang rotors on the spindle and be able to still mount the caliper, or is this not possible? otherwise is is possible to modify the axle/Chevy 49-54 spindle to work? because i know i can put the mustang rotors on that.
