just getting started on a 37 chevy pickup. I have spent an evening or 2 looking thru project journals for a similar project with no luck. Is there something out there I've missed? at this time I am especially interested in installing the windshield solid without hinges etc.

I did the framless windshield mount in my 39 gmc. The 39 has the 2 piece windshield but it should be the same mounting procedure. I had the glass cut from templates I made and used the primer and urathane to mount the 2 pieces like used in current vehicles. I also used the black primer about 2 inches all aroung the outside edges to hide the back of the dash and header panel. After the glass set I used a rubber moulding from the local windshield installer to fill the gap between the body and glass. Dont remember the actal part number of moulding though. Seems like the glass to body gap was about 1/4 inch. Used the urethane to set the moulding. I had to use masking tape in some area to hold the moulding flat untill the adhesive dried. Worked great, no leaks at all.
