37 ford rad-chev 350

Hi there will a 37 ford rad cool a stock chev 350 with the appropriate hose tubes blocked

If what you mean is a flathead rad I doubt it would work very good I have a 37 ford with a351 w in it and I had the local rad shop put a 4 core rad in and I used the top tank ' I believe the flathead rad is separated into 2 parts one for each side of the engine . If you do take that old rad in make sure you get the old rad parts back as they are brass and copper and worth good money as scrap

Yes it is a flathead rad. I guess i will get a custom one made up

The radiator in this car is a Stock 32 Ford 4 cylinder radiator. I had the bottom tank turned around, and the outlet reinstalled to route to a Chevy style waterpump. Cools beautifully, with no hint of overheating...
