I have an odd problem . My 351W is new rebuild 1700 miles last summer OIl started appearing in the rad early on and by the end of summer had about 1 quart in the rad.The engine was a junkyard core that I sent away and had tanked and checked. It has Edelbrock Performer Plus heads and air gap manifold. I took the front timing cover off and everything looks fine. It makes me wonder if the oil gallery is cracked somewhere Any one have any ideas. My buddies have been on numerous other sites and nobody seems to know.

Sounds like a crack somewhere, oil gettin in from a pressurized feed to the cooling system. Are you sure it is oil and not atf? the trans cooler in the rad could be leaking .

You mean a seperate cooler from the radiator, like an aftermarket trans cooler?
