I am using the original 3 spd column shift trans. and original running gear. It took more work then I expected. I used a extra 38 cad bell housing to modify. had to cut some of it and drill new holes. made 1 bracket to utilize all mounting holes on the chevy block. Critical part was lining up the pilot bearing to the trans. The chevy bearing has the same ID as the 38 cad trans. Also the cad 5 hole bolt wheels are the same as the ford 150. A lot of work but fun fun
