38 ford brakes

Hi
I'm want to put a power brake booster and resvoir on the firewall of my 38 coupe. Need something comact; any ideas. I talk'n salvage yard stuff not the high $ cataloge goodies. Thankx, Terry

Gramps Jr, you did not mention what system(s) you are using for stopping power at the wheels. For the "keep it simple" approach to produce good results, its best to use the entire combination from a donner car. If you use a disc/drum combo, use a booster master cylinder from a disc drum donner car. Granada's make a great donner car for your 38.

Thanks- Grampa SR. - Mustang ll disc front, chevy drum rear
Seems the Granada is a winner- found two in the bone yard today. Also 80's Ranger P.U. looked about the same size.

Great!!! We installed the Grenada booster, master cylinder, and proportioner block in our 41 Ford Business Coupe with the MII front and GM rear. We did put the 85 Monte Carlo rotors and calipers on the front. Best brake setup to date!! We used the overhung brake pedal bracket and pedal from a late 60 Econoline van cause it was there. Don't know why you could not use the Granada bracket and pedal
