I want to lower the front of my '38 Ford. I'm using
stock axle and steering. How much drop will I get with a reverse eye Posie? I've also thought about using my stock spring with a reverse eye main leaf and leaving 4 or 5 upper leafs out. Has anyone done this? Chassis Engineering sells the main leaf. Thanks |

Tack,
I've not done it on a '38, but on others. By just eliminating 2-3 springs will bring it down a couple of inches, it's all dependant on the front end total wieght. You can also change the made spring as you discribed, and drop even lower. My cars rode and drove great. Glenn Hayes |
