383 chev crate motor wanted
Hi Guys,
I am looking for a reliable engine builder/supplier for a 383 chev stroker. I have talked on the phone with Jon Barrett engines, McClure Racing in Dallas, and Speedomotive about their package deals and I`m not feeling confident in what I am hearing yet.
Does anyone on the board have any first hand experiance,good or bad, that can be shared. basically I am looking for a fairly complete built 383 engine in the 450-475 horsepower category. Thanx, Bob myers, SD.
