Tell us a little about the cars purpose?

My cam(example only) is 256/264 duration using a .420 lift lobe,so 640/672 lift minus lash. I have 3.50 gears and a 5 speed. It launches fairly smooth, but its not great in heavy traffic:
heavier clutch,
and the engine wants to rev out,so I shift into 2nd at 30-35 mph.
hard on gas and looking for long straight stretches(too much power)
think about how much power you really need and want
Exactly what you just described is what I want lol a motor that wants to rev out and likes straight stretches. I would like to maybe put this engine in a vega if I don't end up putting it in a jeep. I guess I can always change cams for car vs jeep.
