I have come to the same conclusion after doing my own cost/benefit analysis 355 vs 383 street blower motor.

The 355 is much cheaper and simplier to build and allows you to invest in much better cylinder heads as well as get the cr just right, easily .

More street power with better reliability on pump gas ,, for less money in the end.

Your only problem will be keeping tread on the tires. And keeping it out of the ditch
