Talking 383 Machining Costs ?

I have a 355 CI Chevy SB with 4 Bolt mains. Over the winter I was going to have the block Magnafluxed, new freeze plugs and cam bearings installed which will cost about $250. How much did it cost you gentlemen to have the block machined for the 383 Stroker crank ? Thanks for the help.

Joe

Man, that's alot of dough just to mag, clean and cam bearings. Clearancing the engine for 3.75 stroke shouldn't cost that much. Anyway, you can do it yourself with a carbide bit and a die grinder. 250.00 whew!!!!
