Finally decided im gonna build a 383 stroker. I want an engine thats got great low end torque so i can put high gears and afford to drive it but still be able to have some fun on weekends. Right now if a a stock bore 350 4 bolt main at home that ill use and was thinking of going with a scat rotating assembly to make things easy. But as for the rest of the engine goes im still thinking what would produce some serious torque numbers at low rpm. The motor will be goin in my 77 camaro with some 3.48 gears or something around there. Just was wondering if anyone whose built a 383 would post there combo and power numbers if they wondn't mind. E-tec 170cc heads
1.60 roller rockers
270hr cam
Edelbroc mpefi
383 bottem end kit from powerhouse
full length dynomax headers
X-pipe 2.25"
50 series df mufflers
3.42 gears and powertrax differential
so far im at 40k+ miles and have been happy with this setup alot great power and decent mileage for a truck I presently get between 18-20mpg
