383 stroker

Hey everyone i just built a 383 it has scat crank, eagle forged 5140 rods, speed pro dished pistons,282 comp cam,305 heads that have been hawged out with matching comp valve springs, procomp singe plane intake, holley 650 carb, accel spark plugs accel wires and accel distributor with stock cap that has 65,000 volt coil. It seems like it runs pretty good but feels like it should have a little more power. it doesnt have any kind of a miss or anything but feels like its just lagging some. I havent put a timing light on and the carb may need a little adjusting but not much. Could it mabey be the valves need some adjusting i went through all of them and have adjusted plenty of valves before so i have some experience so im kinda lost any advice would be awesome thanks

They always feel like the need a little more power. I would suggest you get that ignition set up and trim the carb. You sound real sure on the rest of the build, so tune it up. Strokers are fun stuff.

Why are you lost? When you get it timed in correctly and the carb dialed in to where it needs to be then come back and say your lost.
